Shakra hails from Switzerland and “Fall” is their 5th album. - I can’t say I’m familiar with all of Shakra’s albums, because I only know a few of their songs and these songs did noting to me, so I’ve never paid much attention to Shakra, however it could very well change now. The reason is here: Shakra has delivered the goods here on their 5th album “Fall”.

“Fall” is a good album indeed, that hopefully will introduce the band to a bigger audience, and it’s filled with memorable guitar riffs and choruses. Okay… let’s be honest… I can sense a filler or two, but most of the songs are actually quite good. I am surprised how this album has grown on me after 8-10 listenings. This is pure melodic Hard Rock filled with different tempos and compositions without sounding so radically different from one another.

- Take a listen to “Out of Control”… a fast track with punch, and it’s infectious as hell and I was hooked! “Take Me Now” is more melodic, but it does manage to rock and keep you interested. “She’s My Ecstasy”… I’m f****** sure that I have heard this great song before… I think! - Well enough said… In six months time SHAKRA could very well be a name you won’t be able to ignore.

Recommended tracks: “Out of Control”, “Take Me Now”, “She’s My Ecstasy” and “Make it Alright”
