Strive

Michele Luppi joined Vision Divine in 2003 and actively participated in the writing and creation of "Stream of Consciousness", and Michele Luppi has been highly praised for his vocal performance on this album, released world wide between April and May 2004.

And here I'm sitting with his first official launch as a solo artist. "Strive" is the name of this first solo album, and he is a very talented man, I can tell you that! Luppi attended to every aspect of the recording of "Strive", song writing, producer, arrangement, musician, sound engineer and of course as singer. We get 10 AOR and melodic rock songs with a crystal clear production. Yes, Michele Luppi is talented and the production is great, but what about the songs? After 8-10 spins in my CD-player only 3 songs stand out! The first track: "Trust", track # 7 "Stars" and track # 9 "Time for Love" are all decent rock songs, the rest is half boring and half decent AOR songs.

If it wasn't for the 3 songs mentioned above this CD could be one helluva great Frisbee - this album is just too boring for a metal fan - this is so polished you can see your face in it!

Check it out and then file under: "AOR for the cocktail set".
