Chapter V: Unbent, Unbowen, Unbroken

- One thing first: - If you don't like Hammerfall, stop reading!

Because Hammerfall still sounds like... HAMMERFALL on their fifth studio release. At least to me! The Melodies and choirs are as fat as ever, and is very, very typical Hammerfall. Just take a listen to the first track "Secrets", a great opener and this track just graps you by the throat. One of the best tracks on this album with a very strong chorus and very melodic leads.
Next up is the first single "Blood Bound" and it's stomping straight ahead and will most probably become a real live-favourite. And this album just rolls on and on with typical Hammerfall songs ... midtempo and uptempo, and even a ballad called "Never, Ever".

There's a little surprise on the last track, "Knights Of The 21st Century", where we can hear Cronos from Venom adding some "from the depths of hell vocals". This album is produced, mixed, mastered and engineered by Charlie Bauerfeind. Recorded at Lundgård Studios in Denmark and mixed at Mi Sueno Studios, Tenerife.

In my humble opinion, I think "Chapter V" will be yet another successful album for Hammerfall from Sweden.

Recommended tracks: "Secrets", "Blood Bound", "Fury Of The Wild" and "The Templar Flame"
