The Last Supper

The Metal Machine, Grave Digger, from Germany is back with a brand new album called "The Last Supper". This album follows the true Grave Digger style, pure metal and Chris Boltendahl's
unique raspy voice is all over this album.

However, I didn't expect this album to be able to match the incredible heights achieved by 2003's "Rheingold" masterpiece, and it doesn't. Not that "The Last supper" is a bad album ... no, no, it is very good, but "Rheingold" is a masterpiece in my opinion.

We get 12 songs, and the Limited Edition, that I'm sitting here with, contains 2 bonus tracks, "Sleepless" and "Jeepers Creepers".

All songs are well crafted and the choruses are thought through and especially the fastdriven, galloping tunes are great. Take a listen to tracks like "Desert Rose", "Grave In The No Man's Land", and "Black Widows", both are first class power metal, that leaves me very, very satisfied and also confident for the future, because I get the feeling that Grave Digger will continue to deliver high quality metal for a long time to come.

This is a very good powerpackage, and be sure to get this one before many other cd's out there.

Recommended tracks: "Black Widows", "Desert Rose", "Grave In The No Man's Land", "The Last Supper" and "Hell To Pay"
