The Fortune Teller's Gaze

Wind Wraith clearly has their roots in the 80's with bands like Iron Maiden (first and foremost), Dio, Judas Priest and to some degree old Fates Warning.

This 6-piece offers such a rare thing as a triple guitar assult (anyone remember Leatherwolf), and some of you might have come across this album before with another vocalist (self-released in 2001).

I have not heard the 1. effort, so I can only judge this one. And I think this is really a good album - the album has 11 good songs, a good production, are well played and they even manage to make a very cool cover-version of Elvis Presley's "Burning Love".

And along with a nice Rainer Kalwitz (Shadow Gallery) epic cover, you get the whole package here. Look for this great album in stores soon ... and if you love the bands mentioned before, then you won't be disappointed with this one.

Recommended tracks: "Ancient Tales", "War In The Sun" and "Watching Over Me"
