Eternals

This is the sixth album (incl. 1 EP) from Germany’s white metal band no. 1.The band was formed in 1989, in 1993 they released a demo called “First Strike”, in the following years they released four albums on different obscure record labels, before signing a deal with Massacre for the 2003 album “Between The Worlds”.

The “Between The Worlds” album received great reviews almost everywhere, so there must have been quite a pressure on the four guys from Wolfsburg, but “Eternals” is a step up in the German power metal jungle.

The jump from “Between The Worlds” to “Eternals” isn’t so big, the new album is more aggressive (not much) and the production is better, the CD is produced by Herbie Langhans the lead vocalist and lead guitarist of the band, and Victor Smolski from Rage.

The album includes some great power metal tunes in the vein of Grave Digger & Wizard. Check out the tracks “Infinite King” & “Hunger For Life”. The only weak thing on this cd is the cheesy ballad “Voices”.
