The Last Command

Anthenora from Italy has been around for a long time, since 1989, releasing some demotapes and a mini-CD, before becomming a Iron Maiden tribute band. Making themselves a name this way led to the release of their self-produced 4 track promo-CD "The General's Awakening" in 2002.

Joining up with Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden) as backing band on his Total McBrain Damage tour in both 2002 and 2003 (and another one planned this Year) earned them great success.

In September 2003 they entered the Remeaster Studio with Tony "Mad" Fonto (White Skull guitarist) to record this their first full-lenght album: "The Last Command".

The album has 10 well written (the hidden track not included) and well produced classic metal tunes from this Italian outfit. This talented bunch is influenced by bands like Judas Priest, Running Wild, Accept and off course Iron Maiden, so if you are looking for a shot of this kind of metal, then look no further, because this is a good album, that should please a lot of metal-fans ....
