Upon The World

As impressed I were with Meduza's debut album, as let down I fell about their second album, not that it's a bad album, but I just somehow don't feel the songs are as strong as they were on the first.

This is simply the case of how hard it's sometimes is to follow up on a very strong album. Most songs are dark and heavy as shit, just listen to "Dream On" an evil in your face smasher, or "Can You Tell" a dark and doomy track par excellence with great melodic vocals.

This is a very solid and good album, with some impressive guitarwork from Stefan Berg, who lights up this album with his great soli. So does Apollo with his unique voice, especially on the acoustic ballad: "In Death" - excellent.

Recommended tracks: "Dream On" and "Can You Tell"
