Worlds Apart

The French German collaboration known as Horizon is back, harder and heavier than on their debut album "The Sky's The Limit" from 2003.

Like on their first album the spectacular guitarwork by Patrick Hemer is what first impresses me, all songs are good and solid melodic metal songs, with a bunch of nice soli and strong choruses. Add to that a strong rhythm section, nice keyboards and Patrick's good vocals and you have a good melodic metal album...

The production is way better than on their first album, and Mattias Noren has once more made a great cover, so you get the full package.

Recommended tracks: "Burning Hunger", "When The Night Falls" and "S & M"
