NWOBHM is a God, whose followers continue to multiply. “The Biblical” excavations in the gender go ahead to lighten its non-polished pearls. This release is such a thing.

In 2010 the reformed band re-recorded songs from its first album „Wild Cat“ (1980) and made an EP „The Wildcat Sessions“ that has a restricted pressing amongst the fan clubs of TYGERS OF PAN TANG. In 2011 the exercise is repeated with songs from the second album „Spellbound“ (1981), and the ЕР „The Spellbound Sessions“.  The Polish label with questionable reputation presents exactly these two EPs targeting wider circle of listeners.

The Rock 'n' Roll approach of TYGERS OF PAN TANG did not lift them during the first years of the boom of the NWOBHM. The re-recording itself of the old songs did not result in grand improving of the sound. The particular stress is on the return to the essence and the braver performance of the Rock 'n' Roll identity of the old boys.

Without being something exceptional this CD is the necessary release that presents us the history of the NWOBHM, and the history of TYGERS OF PAN TANG. This is a pleasant for listening album from the times when it was not necessary to make up your face to play heavy Rock 'n' Roll!
