Some reviews are easy, some are not. Nemesis’ “Unleash The Beast”, or rather its rerelease falls into the second category. It is definitely a good album, but the first 4 songs which were also on the original release make me wonder why. The quality increases gradually, and the 4th song is even quite enjoyable, but the first 3 songs are still very weak and make me wonder why the original release is considered a collector’s item these days.

Fortunately Nemesis decided to add quite a lot of new(er) material to the rerelease which makes up for this initial weakness both in quality and quantity. It is as if the band wanted to show the world how much you can improve if only you are serious about it. Old School Heavy Metal full of tales of heroism and steel, solid guitar work, a clean and powerful voice behind the microphone, what else can one wish for?

Fans with a taste for Old School Heavy Metal that looses itself in tales full of heroism and steel, will definitely love this album.
