This is the third album from Swiss thrash trio Bloodlost and my first acquaintance with their music. I don't know a lot about their road to this album, but what I hear doesn't sound wrong. You hear that they find their inspiration in the good old school thrash pool. A mix of Bay Area with German thrash is what I hear. Metallica, Slayer, Testament, Destruction, Kreator and stuff like that. Although the music isn't very technical and the riffs are not very advanced, the band sure has something I can appreciate. They make a nice mix of rather known elements, but succeed in making it still interesting.

The vocals of Fransisco Martins are ideal for this kind of thrash, he has got the perfect aggressive voice for a thrash band. He sounds like a mix of several known thrash singers, but never sounds exactly like one of them. Most of the songs are fast and rather short, but sometimes they slow down a bit like in "The Doors". For me this is immediately one of the weaker songs, not only because it is a little boring, but also because of the gang singing that just doesn't fit in. The first part of "Demolition" did me expect the worst, but fortunately the song changes into a good song rather fast. "Bring My Bitch" is one of the other weak songs also because of the very adolescent lyrics. If you are 17 years old, you perhaps like this kind of lyrics, but I think this band should know better.

Final conclusion is that the music on this album is nice for the bigger part, just a few weaker songs, but nevertheless a nice portion of old school thrash.
