The Silent Low is a brand new four piece rock project from Denmark with a description as a 'no bull-shit rock' band. That is a very good replica in matter of fact, because this is straight forward rock n roll with tons of solid riffing in a fat and loud sound. There are only three songs on this EP and with barely fifteen minutes of rock n roll, they push the foot to the floor and go for it in the energetic opening track 'Dear Devil'.

The track has big influences from Foo Fighters. It is by far the most shining star of these three tracks. 'The Freak I Am' and 'Black Heart Beating' is two modern rock songs with vibes of Alice In Chains and without the strong energies within 'Dear Devil'.

I'm a classic hard rock writer and isn't comfortable with the modern/grunge inspired rock, but they have a belief and a big heart in their music and I believe there is a future for The Silent Low...
