Classic melodic heavy metal with NWOBHM influences and some power metal double bass drumming. That is what these Italians again are serving on their already fourth album. The high pitched vocals of Stefano Senesi stick to the style, although he isn't one of the top singers in this genre. I think it doesn't sound surprising that there are a few similarities with Iron Maiden, but in a song like "Awaiting the Storm" the slow riffs make me think of the band Dio as well. In several songs there are some calmer pieces and that combines fine with the heavy riffs . "Trail of Tears" is kind of epic ballad, but because of the vocal capacity not a real top song.

All in all it is a fine album for those of you who like good melodic metal with the roots somewhere in the early eigthies. The only thing I missed on this album is no songs that really keep hanging in your head.
