Fresh, new modern hard rock with tons of energy with big flirts with the big bands from the glorious 80's rock scene. I understand that Rick Savage from Def Leppard went crazy and publicly hailed this band and offered to co-write and produce this sophomore album, "NxN". Night By Night was the opening band in Europe on their indoor tour last winter and I tried to persuade my friends to go see this young new band. Everybody in the audience were overwhelmed by their strong gig.

Night By Night doesn't play in a pure classic 80's style hard rock. Nope, they have twist of their own on modern rock/metal, which feels very healthy and the blend with the classy melodic hard rock attracts my old rock brain. Henry Rundell on vocals has the perfect rasp and thorn in his throat and sings like I used to say: "with his mouth wide open". I remember the insane guitar playing from their gig in Umeå and these Londoners got a lot of fans after their shows in Sweden. Stiff hard riffs and mega big hooks together with the stable rhythm section create the musical foundation, which feels waterproof.

If you are a fan of bands like: Def Leppard, Poison, Skid Row, Europe, Mötley Crüe, Warrant, Ratt or Van Halen you definitely have a new band to check up on. I find this very healthy and salutary to listen to.

Ten catchy hard rock songs, which gives me zest for life and inspiration to continue writing about new bands that really believe in their music and want to develop an authentic and original hard rock style...
