The band INQUISITOR from Netherlands is a transient child of its members from thrash metal (ex-band DESULTORY) to death metal (their after project CENTURIAN). Their only album from 1996 now is revived together with the whole band by Hammerheart Records. The double CD is a full almanac of the works released with the brand INQUISITOR, because includes all of their demo recordings.

For the people not familiar with the band we would make reference that the thrash riffs are implemented into a death/grind storm full of multitude influences from its time. This amalgam of extreme genders would be yet divided into sub-genders. The mostly fast songs are interpreted noisily with high aggressive vocals that from a contemporary point of view are typical for the bands in the gore/grind segment. You will also find death metal solos and slower parts in the songs.

Without being something exceptional this release is offering worthy retrospection and prepares us to hear what direction the band took after its recent reunion! The artwork also is refreshed with a vigilant eye of the musicians without being changed. The release is recommendable not only to the fans of old-school death metal, but also for the contemporary gore/grind maniacs!
