What if Exodus and Testament didn't make their albums in the eighties and you would listen to this new album of Hatriot? Well, I think the music world would be flabbergasted and the band would be written into the sky. But ifs don't count and the''Pleasures of the Flesh', 'Fabulous Disaster' and 'The Legacy' albums are a fact.

So, a lot of the music on this album is recognizable as good, excellent Bay Area Thrash Metal and it is excecuted the best way it could be played. With the recognizable vocals of Steve 'Zetro' Souza it will not be a surpirse for you that there are a lot of similarities with Exodus, but with the melodic harmonies and soli the way we know it from early Testament. Nothing strange about that either because Steve has been a member of Legacy also. With his sons Nick on drums and Cody on bass, you can speak of a real family band. They certainly aren't only members because they are relatives, no they have excellent skills.

If you like the 'Tempo of the Damned' album by Exodus, you will be very pleased with this new album of Hatriot. It gives me the same kind of feeling. Get your copy and step into the rollercoaster ride called 'Dawn of the New Centurion'.
