Eric Forrest (bass/vocals) is best known from legendary Canadian band Voivod. Eric is now living in Europe (France) and now releases the third E-Force album.

The music is thrash based, but with a kind of evil attitude. That is especially because of the graspy and harsh vocals of Eric. The music is also rather technical, but that could be expected of course. The riffs are o.k., but after a few songs I loose the attention a bit. I think that is because the tempo of the several songs is about the same all the time. In every songs the double bass drums are rolling like a thunder and after a while it gets a little boring. Every now and then I had to think of the other Canadian thrash band Exciter, somehow there are some similarities. Fortunately the tenth track 'Infexxxous' is an exception that track sounds more like an old Voivod track and finally brings in the welcome variety.

Not a bad album at all and an ideal album to bang your head to, but in my opinion there could have been a bit more variation in tempo.
