A new album by Finnish band Axegressor, but the first for Listenable Records. I don't know the first two, so I stick to what this album stands for.

This is not a difficult album to review because the influences are very clear. I would have guessed that the band is German, because they are heavily influenced by early Destruction and Kreator. On top of that also a band like early Slayer or Exodus can be added, but the main ingredients are early 80's German thrash. Singer Johnny Nuclear Winter (how do you come up with such a name) sounds like Schmier in his early years, with the typical high screams. From a band hailing from Finland you can expect that the musicians are skilled and also the sound of the album is o.k.. For a thrash fan there is enough to enjoy, but don't expect something new.

A nice old school thrash release, nothing more and nothing less.
