Album number three from this Australian 3-piece. This promo CD ended on my desk even though this isn't the music I usually listen to. Sure we are a site with our roots and most of our reviewers hail from Denmark, but I prefer the info in English instead of Danish. Fortunately there is enough on the internet to get familiar with the band. If you want to know a lot more about them, I advice you to do the same.

The style the band plays is stoner with a rocking base and grunge influences. Expect a mix of Kyuss, Black Stone Cherry, The Answer, Queen of the Stone Age and a little bit of Nirvana. If you like those bands, you will for sure enjoy Tracer. Another band that can be added because of the vocals is Soundgarden. Michael Brown has about the same voice as Soundgarden's Chris Cornell. Known producer Kevin Shirley (Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Slayer.... and so on...) gave the album the right sound for this style of music.

For me it is not easy to give them a rating, just because it isn't really my cup of tea. Above you find the rating a fan of this style would reward them with, but personally I think it is 15 points lower.
