All three members have already earned their stripes in the Dutch metal scene; Richard Ebisch (guitar, bass, vocals) we know from Occult and Legion of the Damned, drummer Roel Sanders showed his skills in Disinfest, Inhume and Asphyx. Third member Susan Gerl (vocals/guitar) has played with Catafalque, Cliteater and God Dethroned before this.

This three piece recorded this album investing their own money and they prove it surely was worth taking the risk. With a finished product in their hands Metal Blade showed interest and got the band signed. The music on the album is fast aggressive death/thrash with pumping drums and growling/grunting vocals. Several influences can be heard. Perhaps you will get an idea if you mix influences of bands like Malevolent Creation, Legion of the Damned, Slayer and Izegrim together. Never however does the band sound like a copy of a certain band, although some tight riffing like in "Made of Lies" do make me think of Legion of the Damned for certain. In several songs the typical howling guitars appear, reminding me of early Slayer. Most of the times the speed is high, but fortunately the tempo is slowed down a bit at times and that makes the songs more interesting. Also the rather unusual duo grunting in "Generated Hate" sounds interesting and if I inform you that Andy Classen helped with the production, you know that it sounds o.k. as well.

Fans of honest aggressive thrash must take a listen!
