5 crazy Italian Heavy Metal heads from Tuscany bring us their debut album named 'Riding on a Flaming Road'. This is something in the lightweight heavy metal division. Don't get me wrong when I say lightweight because that was the first feeling I got in my mind, when the catchy guitar riffs and the high vocal tone went thought my speakers. Wild Roads give us a cheerful and slick metal that is played high on the scale and they are driving in a fast pace.

In the intro track 'Look at Me Burning' the guitars groove and the tempo is perfect and it sounds very promising. The Ozzy's 'Over the Mountain' intro in the title-track and the drastic tempo changes are confusing and I didn't get that really. In the slick and cool track 'Sick Soul' the only annoying thing is the overly high vocals. In the ballad 'Relive My Life' the vocals are suddenly in the right tone mode, so this is one of the absolute best songs on the whole album!

Another good track is 'Your Last Day' where the groove is obvious and it swings significantly in this song! The second ballad is 'To Be King' and the medieval tones spice it up for a change. The last song is a blues tune that makes me wanna go to sleep.

Well guys, the album got highs and lows and the score is fair. I wish them all luck in the world in the future, because the talent is there. With thicker flesh on the bones it will be something great some day.

Best tracks: "Look at Me Burning", "Relive My Life" and "Your Last Day".
