This live album from the Americans in Mr. Big is a acoustic piece that stunned me in my first listening because I wasn't prepared for the acoustic bit. I saw them last summer at Sweden Rock Festival and their stage routine and stage presence was amazing and was one of the best shows at the festival. Eric Martin (lead vocals) is a man for the biggest stages and on this live album which was recorded in a Japanese TV studio BTW is the balance of the raw voice of Eric, the guitars and the percussion together a unique experience.

The 10 classic melodies are shown from another angle and with the super hit ' To Be With You' as a highlight. Still I prefer live albums with the the extra energy and outrageous solos. This is more of a 'feel good album' to have in the background when you have an adult party or just have a quiet and peaceful evening with friends. I especially like the ending track 'Nobody Left to Blame'. If you haven't discovered Mr. Big's latest album 'What If...', you missed out on something great. If you have it, then this one is a nice complement to have in the rack.

Mr Big line up: Eric Martin - Vocals, Pat Torpey - Drums, percussion, Billy Sheehan - Bass, Paul Gilbert - Guitar.
