There’s a conspicuous shortage of memorable riffs in this, Carceri’s debut full-length. And that’s pretty much the only negative observation I can make. Because the musicians are technically very good besides being quite creative when it comes to putting together a song. ‘Septum Defect’ is a perfect illustration of the latter. ‘Dominance’ is another one worth highlighting – the song’s tempo goes from slow to blastbeat without the brutality factor ever waning. Cool stuff! Decent guitar solos aren’t something you get very often in this genre of Metal but Carceri’s Ivar Useinov leaves a lasting impression. More of that please, Mr Useinov!

“The Good…..” is definitely worth checking out, as is grabbing any available opportunity to see these Dutch guys play live.
