A Liquid Landscape is a well known live act in The Netherlands and they have supported international acts like Karnivool, Anathema, Thrice and Riverside. And their music has strong links to bands like Karnivool and Anathema; you take the rock edge from Karnivool and mix it up with the melancholy of Anathema and you end up with A Liquid Landscape.

Just to make the connection even strong they've reached out to Forrester Savell; Australia's young rising star on the producer sky. Probably best known for his excellent work with Karnivool and Dead Letter Circus. On "Nightingale Express" he has helped out with some of the production and the whole mix.

It's hard to believe that they are actually from The Netherlands because this sound a lot like bands from the rising Australian rock scene, let by Karnivool and Dead Letter Circus. Sure they have a darker and more melancholic side to their sound, but if you like bands like the ones I've mentioned, then I am sure you'll discover many fine moments on "Nightingale Express" as well.

On the other hand: most of our readers will steer clear of this for obvious reasons.
