Founded in 1993 Nazxul and comprising former members of even older bands, Nazxul boasts demands some respect. This is a re-release of the Nazxul's début from 1995, so this is the chance to get this Australian Black Metal classic. It should be noted however, that the final long track, “Eternum”, on the original album has been omitted. On the plus side the re-release comes with very superior artwork compared with the original version of the album. A limited digipack version is also available.

Nazxul is perhaps best known for the album Iconoclast from 2009 and with this re-issue there is a chance to get to know the history of Nazxul, one of the early important bands on the Australian Black Metal scene.

Being from 1995 this album might sound a bit dated to the ears of fan of more modern sounding Black Metal. Fans of tr00 Black Metal should definitely give this a listen as comparisons to early Norwegian stuff like Mayhem is quite fitting and that is not a bad thing at all!
