I am not quite sure why this one ended up on my plate, but it did and in all fairness I will give it my assessment.

"Vertigo" is a six track instrumental presentation of Marco Campanella's skills and talent. He has composed four of the songs himself while Kiko Loureiro (Angra) has written two, the keyboard arrangements were written and played by Enzo Caruso (Arachnes). Marco plays all guitars as well as the bass guitars and Franco Fioriti (Inner Chaos) pounds away on the drums.

Marco Campanella is without a doubt a very talented guitarist, and this mini-CD showcases just that on six well written songs. The mini-CD has a acceptable production and the target group is clearly other guitarists. There is no surprises here; Marco showcases his skills for just a little over 20 minutes and if you like instrumental shredder music then you might be able to pick something up here, if not then I suggest you spend your money on other metal releases!
