Fast Eddie Clarke is back! Together with new vocalist Toby Jepson (Ex-Little Angels). I personally think that "Eat Dog Eat" is the best album Fastway has put their name on. It has been 20 years since we have heard anything from Fastway & man it was worth the wait.

Music wise "Eat Dog Eat" is bluesy hard rock with balls & groove. Songs like "Deliver Me", "Leave the Light On" & "Fade Out" is a great example of that ball out rock, but my personal favourite track is; "Dead and Gone" - this is such a heart felt song oozing with emotion and it just rips ya head off with awesome riffs. Classic Fastway - this could have been a huge hit in the 80's. Comparisons could be easily be made to the great 80's band Badlands.

That brings me to the other big plus on "Eat Dog Eat" and that's the vocals by Toby Jepson; he has that raspy Ray Gillen tone to his voice that fits the music perfectly and gives the album that classic hard rock sound. The only complaint I have with "Eat Dog Eat" and it's a little one, is the production is a bit muddy & flat.

This will be in constant rotation on my playlist for a very long time. Do yourself a favour and go & buy this little gem, you won’t be disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
