Dark Refexions first full lenght album 'Beyond Obscurity' is like your second beer on a Friday night. It's good, it's refreshing and it's something you wouldn't be without.
But when that's said it isn't as good as the first beer that night. There are clear high points on this album such as 'Euthanasia' and 'Eternal Fear'. Crisp, fresh Hard-/Metalcore. Catchy melodies, beautiful riff's and an attitude that can only come from a band that's on it's way up.

'Beyond Obscurity' is a wonderful album and it's not just one big mosh-fest from start to finish. It also has some deeper and more deviant song such as 'Darkness Quiet' and 'Darkened sky'. Where the latter really shows some of the bands potential.

All in all this is a well written, well played and well produced album. That in it self makes no excuses, but also makes you wonder what this band will offer in the future.

Conclusion: I really enjoyed this album from start to finish and I CAN'T WAIT to hear what this band has to offer in the future.
