Whitechapel
A New Era of Corruption

Sheer brutality!
That pretty much sums up the impression I'm left with by Whitechapel's third offering.

The Knoxville death metal outfit is brutal and dirty as shit without being
dumb. This is intelligent music even if it hits you like a brick wall at first. This is Lamb of God taken one step further into the realm of mean and tight brutality.

I mention LOG because shouter Phil Bozeman does many of the same things as Randy Blythe - only harder. And the Slayer comparison is also close at hand here - only, again, it's harder. Where Slayer tears you apart, Whitechapel tears you apart AND buries the bits.

Need to get run over after a long day at work? Try this fucker.

I dare you.
