I know most bands don't like to be put in a box, to get a label on them, but to give the readers a fair chance to figure out what to expect I do try to place each band stylistic. They state bands like Dream Theater, Katatonia, Opeth, In Flames, Faith No More and Tool among many influences on their MySpace page, and when the first chords bursting out of the speakers make me think of Pain of Salvation, and then they fall into the category Progressive Metal in my world.

Three songs really isn't much to judge them on, but those three songs show so much quality and promise that they should easily gain some well deserved recognition among progressive metal fans. Their innovative and alternative rock/metal sound offers the listeners a real challenge, and their off-beat and out-of-the-box rhythms sound refreshing and rather special. 'Away from the Watching Eye' makes me want to hear more, want to hear what they can do on a full length album. Hopefully some label executive hears the same creativity and promise from these three intense and captivating songs that I did.

Check all three songs out on MySpace.
