Our Souls To You
Rating
Style: Modern stuff
Release date: April 4th 2010

Damn it! Even after numerous listens I have to do the honourable thing and throw in the towel. I’m still lost somewhere between heaven and hell when it comes to this album called ‘Our Souls To You’.

Labelled as an industrial/metal/hardcore band I still haven’t managed to find the industrial ingredients even after several listens. And well... I’m not familiar with their earlier albums so I can’t compare it to this brand new release, but I would call it modern metal/hardcore metal. AND I have to mentioned that I’m not on home ground when it comes to all this modern-this, modern-that stuff.

This album has it moments but nothing really stands out in my humble opinion. Most of the music reminds me of Ministry but it won’t grow on me. Damn it!

This album comes as a 2-CD with the full album produced by John Mitchell and a V.2 (version 2) produced by Justin Broadrick.

Genre fans should check it out and be their own judges.
