Hey, you know me. Not the big black metal fan here. I do like a bit every now and then as long as it's not the shrill, harsh and downright annoying Norwegian brand of BM. Cradle, Dimmu, yes, they've moved beyond the genre, the same with Emperor, Ihsahn, Arcturus, there are lots who have redefined and toyed around with their origins with much luck.

Moon from Poland is one of the bands I have to classify in the grey zone. What they do is not brilliant. But on the other hand, they stand out from the rest by throwing into the pot of blast beats, razor guitars and whatnot atmospheric, acoustic guitars and a couple of Morbid Angel inspired grooves (try Confined in Heaven). Symphonic black metal as such I wouldn't call it, although the pompous sound is definitely there.

If you like fast, satanic black metal with a slight twist, then, by all means, look this way quickly. You'll like it.
