Imagine that you want to play progressive metal, how big is the chance they are going to compare you with the mighty Dream Theater and expect at least the same quality? Not very big of course and in my opinion they succeeded in doing exactly that. With their 2007 album: 'Calling the Earth to Witness' they already showed what they are capable of. Inspired by bands like Symphony X, Dream Theater and Evergrey they created a sound of their own.

'Where Stories End' is superior to their previous album in every way. The production is better; they created a very warm sound and the songs are better balanced (and I only have MP3-files, so I can't wait to hear the original). The sound of the drums is richer and the keyboards are in perfect balance with the guitars and the rest of the instruments. I think Dream Theater must be jealous that they don't have a vocalist like Henrik Bath, he is the perfect prog-metal vocalist.

It would be a complete waste of my time and your time to tell you what's going on in every single song, you have to experience it to understand it. 2010 already had some great progressive metal releases, but this one will certainly be among the top 3.  Progressive metal fans that can wait until Christmas to know which present they should ask for can wait, but if you are really into progressive stuff and you can't wait that long and will be putting out your pre-order just after reading this review.

One of the best progressive 2010 albums and some of you will think it is the best! A progressive masterpiece indeed! BUY IT!!!
