With most of the records I haven't got such a big problem writing a review, but Iwrestledabearonce gave me a tough job. Personally their music is not my style and I would rate them with 40 out of 100, but that would not be fair. With their band name I didn't expect something very serious and with song titles such as "The Cat's Pajamas and "Tastes Like Kevin Bacon" they underline that.

The band changes easily from pure grindcore to country tunes, jazzy parts, electronic sounds and lots of other styles. It is extreme in every direction. The grunting and screaming pig sounds in combination with Krysta Cameron's clean singing make it a very strange album to listen to.

I think there will be fans out there who will love it, but a lot of others wouldn't even call this music. I find it difficult to give them a rating and therefore I won't do that. If you are very very open-minded and want to hear something different and original just visit their MySpace and judge for yourself if this might be something for you. Personally I will put this somewhere on the shelves in my collection and every now and then I will wipe the dust off it just to keep it proper.
