Great White has experienced many ups and downs both on and off stage, and they have released many albums that reflect that. So now they must be at a standstill if 'Rising' is an indication of where they are at the moment...

Not up there with their best moments, nor down in the bottom with their worst moments this one ends up somewhere in the middle. 'Rising' is like we are used to from Great White blues lopsided hard rock with Jack Russell's unique voice, always easy to recognize and to pick out in a crowd, and they deliver yet another album with all the trademarks they have been nurturing and stayed true to throughout their entire career.

Great White found their own little niche in hard rock a long time ago, and while this album belongs among their more faceless and bleak ones it is still solid, and they are still among the best hard rock bands out there. And 'Rising' will surely please the shark fans out there as much as any of their previous ones...
