An Eye for an Eye

Well... it’s time to put on a Spaghetti Western movie and to dress up like Clint Eastwood, Terence Hill or Franco Nero because the German “Western Metal band has just released their brand new album entitled “An Eye for an Eye”.

Just like their first 2 albums Dezperadoz provide us with a “weird mix” of Metal, Soundtrack and Country music and I actually like most of the tracks there are to be found.

I’m especially very fond of tracks like; “Hate”, “Days of Thunder”, “Wild Times”, “Here Comes the Pain” (Featuring Tom Angelripper), “When the Circus Comes to Town”, and the more than excellent Johnny cash cover “25 Minutes to go”.

The guitars are heavy and steel-laden... just my cup of tea and the choruses are catchy and memorable without being sappy. There are a few fillers in my opinion but “An Eye for an Eye” has turned out to be a solid piece of work. Nothing more nothing less. The production done by Thomas Lichtenwalter, Dennis Ward and singer, guitarist Alex Kraft is excellent so saddle up and enjoy.
