Well... if you’re into catchy Melodic ”Party Hard Rock” then you definitely need to check the brand new album by THE POODLES called “Sweet Trade” out. Last years “Metal Will Stand Tall” was a quite good album but the Swedes have pushed the level of their songs even higher.

The promo-CD I’m holding in my hands contains 12 songs and almost every single one of them is more than catchy and infectious. Yes... “Sweet Trade” is packed with classy; hook laden, catchy Party Rock songs with soaring choruses. Just what the doctor ordered for a boring, rainy autumn day.

There’s actually not much new to tell about THE POODLES. The production is good and this band does have the potential to become huge... because the really do know how to write a catchy tune.

Their debut album “Metal Will Stand Tall” and this brand new album “Sweet Trade” is very close to each other style and sound wise, so I’m quite curious to see and hear what they can come up with on their next release. Will they repeat themselves or can they come up with another hammer? Will they change a bit? Heavier? Softer?

Let’s wait and see... and in the meantime... let’s have a party and let’s enjoy this brand new album. It’s a feel-good album... that’s for sure and fans of THE POODLES will not be disappointed.
