Well, when you read the press release about RAZOR BALL and learn that the 4 musicians of RAZOR BALL have worked with such artist as; Glenn Hughes, David Bowie, Mick Jagger, Ozzy Osbourne, Slash and Graham Bonnet among others, you get a little impressed, right?

Well... I was, until I threw this self titled album from RAZOR BALL in my hard tried CD-player... then I wasn’t impressed anymore.

To me RAZOR BALL sounds quite close to bands like; Humble Pie and Mother’s Finest and also Aerosmith comes to mind when the CD rotates in my player. I have listened to this CD several times but only one single track out of 12 stands out from the rest, namely “What do U Want From U”.

Except for the above mentioned track, the songs are dull and lifeless. Thanks to many cups of coffee (and I hate coffee) I managed to stay awake almost every single time I was listening to this album. Damn... this band lack catchy stand out tracks...!

The production and the sound is very 70’s... and suits the music fine... but RAZOR BALL need way better songs in my opinion.

Check it out if you’re into above mentioned bands... or else... avoid it.
