A long awaited return from Jim Peterik’s PRIDE OF LIONS.

The band has always showcased utter talent in the AOR department and this, their new album will surely not disappoint.

The formula is the same as usual – classic Peterik melody lines, comparable to what he wrote for SURVIVOR back in the day. This time, however, also sees PRIDE OF LIONS venturing into uncharted waters as they incorporate pretty pompous and symphonic parts to their material, unlike their 2 first albums. For instance, the hit song “Book of Life” really lifts to higher ground as well as “Defying Gravity” does.

This is truly an album as classic as can be – yet innovative! Fabulous, I say…

The perfect step forward for this classic outfit!

A highly recommendable slap of AOR for the classic listeners!
