Are you a sucker for thrash metal in the vein of Exodus, Megadeth and old Sepultura? If no, then skip this. If yes, then I can assure you that there’s a very good chance that you’ll like British Evile’s take on rock’n’roll.

Produced by renowned knob-twister Flemming Rasmussen (Metallica, Morbid Angel), ‘Enter the Grave’ captures the spirit of the 80s perfectly. Thrash the good old fashioned way seems to be in the middle of a resurgence right now, and this album will indeed be a solid part of that wave.

Never straying from the codices of the genre, the riffs sound just right; inventive, hard, no beating around the bush. The drums are thrashed the way they should and Matt Drake has a voice that is very suitable for thrash metal (I’m trying to figure out who it is he sounds a lot like, but I can’t quite get there…).

Thrashers of the world unite and get this! You won’t regret it!
