I must admit that I didn’t even know about TALISMAN’s return before I held this promo in my hands!

Being a big fan of their two first releases I was excited to say the least!

So, what are they up to nowadays?

Well, Jeff Scott Soto’s BRILLIANT vocals were always a certificate of quality and that’s still the case! The only thing that’s really changed is the style of the band…Or the sound of the band, that is!

TALISMAN has always tried to avoid sounding like everbody else and yet again they go in their own direction…Although adding ”modern” sounding guitar playing, they still stick to their guns and keep it ”TALISMAN”! Their funky approach is still evident every now and then and Marcel Jacob’s vivid bass figures are still up front… So in that department it actually sounds pretty close to what they released in the 90s.

Yes, this is an album that’ll surely please addicts of that melodic and bass-dominated sound of TALISMAN… Great! Emphasize what I just wrote about the melodies…This is melodic as hell!!

If you can live with an updated production sound then this’ll hit you where it hurts best! Right there in your melodic heart!

Very professional execution and very convincing material!
