What
Arjen A. Lucassen hasn't been able to do with his main project
Ayreon, he has managed to do with 2 of his other projects, namely
to bring his Ayreon songs out to the fans performing them live on
stage. He has been touring intensively in and around
Holland
with his latest protégée Marcela Bovio and their joint project
Stream of Passion, bringing their music out live on stage.
Captured
live at 'Lucky&Co' in Rijssen, Holland on February 17th 2006
is a band clearly having fun on stage, performing a nice
collection of classic Ayreon songs as well as Stream of Passion
songs, and it makes fun to listen to the Ayreon songs in a new
environment and with different vocalists - breathing a breath of
fresh air into the songs...
I
wasn't that impressed with the Stream of Passion album, but really
think the songs works well live, and the whole show is very
enjoyable. And to finally hear "Computer Eyes" and songs
from the "The Human Equation" album live is truly
amazing.
If
you like I love everything created by Arjen, then you should get
this great live recording as well. And just to make things even
more interesting, the whole thing has been released on DVD as well!
Which means you'll the able to watch the whole show in 5.1
surround sound as well
as a few goodies...
So
what's stopping you - get this brilliant piece of music now,
either on CD or on DVD - or like me on both...
