This is the second release from a fine English Rock band called Shadowman. Their first album is called “Land of the Living” (2004) and now Shadowman are about to release the follow up called “Different Angles”.

The men behind this English band are: Steve Overland (FM, The Ladder), Steve Morris (Heartland), Chris Child (Thunder) and Harry James (Thunder). The music here is well crafted Melodic Rock and do expect elements of both HEARTLAND and FM. I can also hear some BAD COMPANY in some of the songs.

This album needed a few spins in my CD-player to win me over but now I think it’s a fine piece of melodic rock music.

My favourite tracks are “Take me Home”, the up tempo song “Chains”, the very melodic “Runaway Girl” and “Satellite”. “Satellite” reminds me of both Def Leppard and Bad Company.

This is a bunch of guys, who really knows what they are doing. So if you are looking for some well crafted Melodic Rock music… do your self a favour and check this album out when it hit the streets in March.
