"Heartbreak" is not a new album from the guy once dubbed: "LA session king and AOR hero": Paul Sabu. This is the re-release of the very first album engineered and produced by himself. Sort of the beginning of a great career, that has seen him producing, mixing, writing songs and perform with such artist as Alice Cooper, David Bowie, Shania Twain, The Nelsons and Madonna just to name a few.

"Heartbreak" is the perfect testament to why many consider Paul Sabu to be one of the most important hard rock / AOR song writers around. His trademark of big sounding albums - off course you can hear this album is made in 1985 - which nicely combine fat keyboards, catchy melodies and choruses with superb vocals and blistering guitars makes not only this album very interesting, but also his entire back catalogue, which include various solo-album as well as his work in Only Child.

The 10 original classic hard rock songs, along with 3 bonus songs, proves once and for all that this album possesses at least as the same amount of quality that any of the big selling Van Halen albums did back then...

So if you are missing this classic hard rock album from your collection, then this is a great opportunity to get it! This album should be a part of any hard rock fans collection in my humble opinion, and to listen to it again has been pure pleasure...
