Italian six-piece The Prowlers was founded back in 1996, they started as an Iron Maiden tribute band. But after a few years they started to write their own material and a demo CD was released in 1999, another demo called “A Descent into the Maelstrom” came out in 2001. In 2003 a five-track demo called “Souls Thieves” led to a contract with Italian label Steelborn Records, and the same year The Prowlers first full-length album was released, and like the demo it was called “Souls Thieves”.

In 2005 the “Devil’s Bridge” demo was recorded, which led to a deal with Danish Management Intromental Management, and later to a deal with the Spanish Label Locomotive Records. And once again the new album has the same title as their latest demo.

“Devil’s Bridge” was produced by Tommy Hansen (Pretty Maids, Helloween, Beyond Twilight etc.). “Devil’s Bridge” is packed with hard-hitting riffs and great melodies; US metal meets Euro metal with a twist of Iron Maiden and Royal Hunt. This is one of those albums that really grow on you; every time I listen to it I discover something new.
