Chrome Division consists of Shagrath of Dimmu Borgir among others and “Doomsday Rock ‘n Roll” is heir debut album filled with pure dirty “Doomsday Heavy Rock ‘n Roll”, very close to the sound and style of Motörhead.

My first reaction to this album was that I was somewhere between heaven and hell… most of the songs were okay and two of them, “Serial Killer” and “1st Regiment” were awesome. But now… numerous spins later I’m closer to hell than heaven. Because I only still like two of the songs… the songs mentioned above and now the rest is a waste of time in my opinion.

Everything is well executed, produced and arranged but to me this is one of those albums you can listen to without any problems or pain but I also have to admit that nothing stands out... except for the two songs mentioned above.

This album is just there and if you take it out, it is gone… and I’m not missing it! Maybe it’s just me? Maybe I’m missing the point here? But this album won’t get to me...

Maybe they are about to conquer the world with this album? Let’s see what the future brings, shall we?

Doomsday Rock ‘n Roll killer tracks: See above.
