The members of Canvas Solaris are without a doubt all very talented, this album is packed with time changes, breaks and the use of various instruments is almost second to none. Fusion music is for a very, very little audience, mostly other musicians, who wants to listen to complex and spacy music.

There are no real song structures - at least not in my book - in fusion music. You have to be extremely skilled and the band needs to be very tight. All of these qualifications are at hand here, and Canvas Solaris displays awe striking tightness, but in all honesty this has almost nothing to do with metal!

And I am not sure, that our pages have any fans of fusion amongst our readers - sure there some nice metal riffs at display here, but generally this is so far from the music we normally feature here, and therefore I won't give it a rating - it would be unfair to the band.

I can only recommend that you listen very carefully to this album before buying.
