Armored Saint – Carpe Noctum

Armored Saint is often described as the most underrated metal band ever, and looking back at their impressive back-catalogue you can easily understand why… However they have only released seven studio albums, even though their career began in the early 1980s.

Prior to this live album, recorded in Germany in 2015, they’ve only released one live album “Saints Will Conquer” back in 1988. And to be honest, this new live album doesn’t offer much… only eight songs and 39 minutes in total…

But I love Armored Saint and I really like this short live intermezzo with songs from the early days as well as more recent. But this is clearly a “fans only” release, and I suggest you think twice before ordering this live album.

When I kicked this site off back in 2003, I had no idea that it would turn into what it has become. I am very proud of what we've done and achieved over the years. Musically I have a soft spot for 80s inspired hard rock, but my favourite music and bands are all to be found in the progressive universe these days.
