Anguish
Force comes from
Italy
and “2: City of Ice” are their second album, Anguish Force are a five piece without
a keyboard player quite a rarity with Italian bands.
Anguish
Force delivers straightforward Heavy / Power Metal, it almost
sounds like Running Wild meets Helloween meets Warrant a great
mixture of old German Teutonic Metal.
Out
of the ten tracks on “2: City of Ice” the melodic “God Against God”, the speedy “Anguish
Force” and the riff attack on “Claustrophobia” stands out as
the best tracks.
The
rest of the album doesn’t reach the same standard, Anguish Force
still have a lot of work in front of them before they can compete
with the above-mentioned bands.
And
hopefully they will use a little more time on the production next
time.
